The Short & Sweet of Our Camera Evolution
From EFP, ENG, Triax, studio and other production cameras to 16mm, 35mm, HD cinema from RED or 35mm, HD videotape from HDCAM, HDV, DVCPRO HD, or solid state HD in P2 or XDCAM. Older videotape cameras from all BetaCam generations, IMX, DVCAM, DVCPRO + others.

Other Sony broadcast cameras Nick, our Colorado cameraman has operated include:
BetaCam SX like the DNW 90WS, (and others) for news & networks, Digital BetaCam (from the the 700, 700WS 709WS, 790WS for a variety of corporate clients, commercial clients, and news), to IMX (MSW-900P, and earlier IMX models for reality shows and corporate clients).
In addition to having been on several different shoots, the cameramen in our Colorado camera crew have also been in several of Colorado's (including Planet Earth's) and can anticipate the correct camera package for your shoot in Colorado. If you're bringing any of these following cameras: Sony UVW BetaCam, PV/BVP series BetaCam, CA Series Sony Studio Cameras, all the series BetaCams (D30 BetaCam, D30WS, D35WS, D50/WS, DXC 537, DXC 637, D600WS), among other Sony early model cameras, we operated them all.
HD camera operation experience includes: HDCAM from 700A, 730S, 750, 790, F900, F900R&SR, CineAlta tape, disc and in XDCAM (most models), PMW EX XDCAM, and many other professional Sony video cameras. Sony DVCAM cameras our Colorado cameraman Nick has operated: DSR350, 300, 500WS, 570WS, PD150, PD170. Other ENG & EFP based Sony SD and HD cameras our principal Colorado camera man Nick has shot with include the XDCAM like the PDW510, PDW 530, HDC F330, HDC F350, PDW 700 & 800 (popular among some news networks and reality shows).
Our Colorado camera crew have also operated Sony HDV cameras like the Z1U, V1U, Z5U, and the Z7U, also the A1U. If you're not a Sony shop our Colorado cameramen have also shot with several Ikegami cameras (from HL, series and others), Canon XL series, GL series DV cameras, Canon HDV like the XL H1, and other canon video cameras. JVC has had several cameras our Colorado cameraman Nick has operated from the DV 500U, 500U, the KY 27&29, the HDV100, 110, and 200 series HDV cameras. In additional to these our camera crew has run several studio video cameras, and some newer less common cinema disc cameras from Thomson. Other camera manufacturers our Colorado cameraman Nick has operated included Hitachi, and extensive Panasonic experience.

Panasonic is Sony's biggest competition and Nick and his camera crew have operated the following Panasonic cameras:
DVX100, DVX100A&B (popular among all types for networks, and clients, as well as production companies), SDX900 and previous DVCPRO cameras, HDX400 (1080i HD camera popular among live trucks, HDNET, sports, and some production companies. The HDX900, is frequently operated by Nick for all types of clients from Agencies, production companies, networks (COLO, NAT, GLOBAL), as well as the VariCam. P2 Cameras our crew operates are the HPX170, HPX300 and HPX500. Nick, our videographer and much of our HD crew also has experience with other P2 cameras from the HPX2000, HPX2700, HPX3700 + a couple others for clients owning these cameras for Colorado shoots.
