audible sound to whatever the camera or recording
media. It's a big toll on a camera person when they
are tasked with too many responsibilities. DSLR shooting
for video is often demanding a sound person, especially
when multiple DSLR cameras are in play or multiple
subjects are on camera, this is also true for productions
shooting to other cameras in similar situations. Having
a location sound person also enables the camera person
or the crew to concentrate on their tasks while the
sound is mixed / recorded with attention to detail
by the audio tech.
