I have used Matthews and American grip accessories for every shoot I work, in addition to others equipment manufacturers such as Gitzo, Avenger and some other grip/lighting manufacturers to make it happen. Everything to light, gaff and grip so that the video or film is the best. To be assured of proper illumination on your video, photography, of motion picture film shoot I have experience as a gaffer, grip and shooter with a variety of lighting issues: mixed lighting challenges, under/over exposure compensation, lighting diffusion, color correction lighting, pattern and accent lighting, lighting attenuation, lighting control, set background rigging, choosing the correct lighting wattage and power, managing electrical limitations, as well as, choosing the proper lights for the shot. I can also help your video or film production in chosing a particular light design and manufacturer, ensuring the appropriate mood of each shot. I get your production a particular look in motion picture film, photography, or video; small corporate video or large commercial production, or anything in-between.

Lighting support for the director of photography is another specialty, offered by a fellow cameraman. I often light, grip, rig, and do audio for other cameramen, when I’m not shooting. I can adapt to any cameraman’s color preferences, and can enhance a background or subject in the foreground. I enjoy the roles of gaffer/grip when working with other shooters illuminating with new ideas. Additionally, I can adapt to existing lighting challenges, lack of lighting, and utilize common practical lighting resources for accent lighting, key lighting, fill lighting, dramatic lighting, mood lighting and numerous other types of lighting. Never over the top, unless of coarse, that’s what the DP, director or producer is looking for.
