To be assured of proper illumination on your video, photography, of motion picture film shoot I have experience as a gaffer, grip and shooter with a variety of lighting issues: mixed lighting challenges, under/over exposure compensation, lighting diffusion, color correction lighting, pattern and accent lighting, lighting attenuation, lighting control, set background rigging, choosing the correct lighting wattage and power, managing electrical limitations, as well as, choosing the proper lights for the shot. Lighting support for the director of photography is another specialty, offered by a fellow cameraman. I often light, grip, rig, and do audio for other cameramen, when I’m not shooting. I enjoy the roles of gaffer/grip when working with other shooters illuminating with new ideas.
